Challah is a rich, eggy bread baked every week for the Jewish sabbath, or shabbat.
A round challah represents a full year or has been noted to resemble a crown since it is the crown of the new year. Thus, the round challah is seen often around Rosh Hashanah in Judaism. Personally, my favorite challah is round and is made from Dakota Bakery in West Bloomfield, MI. It is the only challah I’ll buy. It is slightly sweet, insanely fluffy and addicting to eat! I love my bread/carbs and this bread is top tier!!! And here is a hot tip….. CHALLAH FRENCH TOAST. Thank me later for this one.

I engraved mine with the Jewish year of 5782 because it is a special year for me. The back can be engraved with whatever you’d like at no extra cost.
