Refund Policy

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Kitty’s Karats is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that are confirmed to be delivered to the shipping address provided for the order. Kitty’s Karats is not responsible for orders that are delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect shipping information being provided at checkout. Please confirm your shipping address before finalizing checkout. If you receive a confirmation email with an address that needs to be updated, please contact me as soon as possible to make any changes. Once an order has shipped, we cannot make any changes to your shipping address. We cannot refund shipping costs for shipments that are returned to us due to an error in the address provided.

Insurance is purchased on all orders. A police report and other documents will be required to submit an insurance claim. You must contact us as soon as possible.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. So, please examine the pictures carefully, read the entire description, and send me a DM on Instagram, and/or e-mail if you have any questions. Responses are usually sent in 1-3 business days.

With that said, if there is a problem with your order when you receive it, PLEASE reach out to me so we can make it right.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Store Credit

All sales are final but I offer store credit for most items if returned within 7 days. Return rules for store credit are listed below. If you would like to make a return for store credit, please contact me ASAP to ensure your item is returned in the correct time frame to receive store credit.

  • Returns accepted for 7 days
  • $15.00 flat rate return shipping

  • 20% restocking fee

  • Final sale items: made to order and several other items are listed as final sale and cannot be returned for store credit. Please contact me before purchasing if you are unsure if the item is a final sale.


Exchanges
Exchanges are made on a case by case basis. Email me to discuss this.


Refunds

Refunds are made on a case by case basis. 

If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  
IF a refund request is approved, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the full refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 15 business days. Please note the refund will be subject to a return label fee and restocking fee of 20%. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
